Motherload in the Spotlight
As co-owner and operations manager for Motherload Transport, Erin Tallieu wears many hats. Whether she’s coordinating freight shipping logistics, or fueling growth for the company, there’s no end to the long, difficult days. Thankfully, this hard work pays off through ongoing business growth and media recognition for Motherload's success.
Recently, Erin has been recognized for her accomplishments as both an entrepreneur, and a woman in the trucking industry. In April 2018, she was selected as one of the Times-Colonist’s Top 20 Under 40 Business and Community Achievement Award winners. These awards recognize Vancouver Island’s best and brightest young entrepreneurs, and their stunning accomplishments. Erin was selected for her role in the ongoing growth of Motherload in the freight shipping industry, and as an example of the potential for women in the traditionally male-dominated industry.
She was also selected to join the Women In Trucking Association’s 2018 Canadian Image Team. The members of the Image Team act as ambassadors for WIT, and exemplify the wide range of careers in both trucking and transport services.
The future of Motherload Transport is obviously bright in Erin’s capable hands. As she continues to build one of North America’s premier freight broker organizations, there will undoubtedly be more recognition and media attention for her hard work.
